Quartet News

(a record of all the trouble The Southmen have gotten themselves into.)
...and boy is there a lot.
Out And About - Eddie Crook

The Southmen have been working all over the country. Recently we toured out west including a week in California. We enjoyed meeting old friends and also made a lot of new ones.

The weekend in Dollywood proved to be a rewarding one. Many people were seeing the group for the first time. There were many positive comments about the eight performances. I am sure the group will be back to the theme park in the future.

The new TV show is in the final stages before airing. There is a lot of excitement about being on tv across the country..

It is a lot of fun playing the piano with a group of guys that are very professional in what they do.

I look forward to seeing more people at our concerts and having a great time spreading the Gospel through our music.

Beckie’s comments:
With an all-star lineup of Buddy Burton, Eddie Crook, Larry Beck, John Washburn, Buddy Poe, and of course, the one and only Jim Hefner, The Southmen draw their styling from their history with The Statesmen, Happy Goodmans, J. D. Sumner & The Stamps, Masters Five, The Tennesseans, and The Segos. If you love great Southern Gospel Quartet singing with a touch of humor, you won't be disappointed with The Southmen. Be watching for their upcoming TV show, "Singing Down South", and go out and see them.
